What is Impaction?
Impaction is a nonprofit organization dedicated to tackling the urgent challenge of integrating sustainable solutions into businesses and other organizations as well as delevope and support projects that promote a better future. Our main mission is to combat the triple planetary crises (climate change, air pollution & loss of biodiversity) through impactful actions. We work with partners around the world, promoting and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and fostering collaboration among our members and partners. Together, we strive for a more sustainable future for our planet and its people. With steadfast determination, we also create and support projects that lead the way to a brighter and more sustainable tomorrow.
Background
In the spring of 2023, Impaction emerged as a visionary organization, finding its roots in the culturally rich city of Aarhus, Denmark. Its inception can be attributed to the collective forces and individuals behind two remarkable initiatives: "Danmark For Målene" (Denmark for the Goals) and "The World's Most Travelled Hotdog Stand." Initially, the partnership between these organizations sparked the idea of a Global Goals Tour, but it swiftly evolved into a grander concept—an organization fueled by ambitious aspirations.
Impaction embarked on its journey with a clear objective: to establish robust partnerships that fortify and bolster sustainable solutions. Simultaneously, it aimed to cultivate a thriving community of collaborators, united by their dedication to achieving impactful change through action and in support of the UN Global Goals. With an unwavering determination, Impaction sets out to create a brighter and more sustainable future, transcending geographical boundaries and inspiring others to join the cause.
